The 'KING' Does India Proud..........AGAIN !!!!!

Golden Globes - One of the biggest awards ceremony in the world was held in Hollywood yesterday and needless to say the very beautiful Slumdog Millionaire won all the important awards at the ceremony.

For the first time ever, the Golden Globes had a major Indian connection to it. Slumdog Millionaire - The movie that won the Best Movie Award, was a story of an Indian and was completely shot in India. A.R Rahman (arguably the World's best Musician) won the Golden Globe for the Best Music.

Finally, the throne was perfectly set for the 'KING' to descend and he descended in awesome elan and swept Hollywood off its feet. Wearing a Black suit and a tie inside his shirt, he walked in and the world looked with awe at the MOST POWERFUL FILM STAR OF THE WORLD as he stood before them. He surely had the entire Hollywood in splits with his trademark cheeky humour.

It was the first time ever that an Indian was being invited to an awards ceremony as big as the Golden Globes to present an award. This surely is the beginning of the recognition of India worldwide and King Khan is one of its driving force or maybe a major driving force.

After having made it to the Newsweek's list of World's 50 Most Powerful People at the 41st position, King Khan has again added a 'First' to many of his 'Firsts'. And mind you he is the only movie star of the world to have made it to the list, leaving behind the more hyped Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise.

But still there are people who debate on King Khan's power. Some make films with the title Kinng(note the spelling mistake) and some guy calls himself the King - a claim that is supported and endorsed only by him and his cronies. Maybe he is actually suffering from short term memory loss because he always keeps on forgetting that King Khan is currently at such a dizzying height of fame and power that he could never reach that place all his life no matter how hard or maybe how negatively he tries.
