REDS RULE !!!!!

The only colour that was splashed all over the world this weekend was undoubtedly the colour that signifies danger-RED. Well, I am talking about the two sporting events that took place on this Sunday i.e: 23/03/2008. The first one was the Malaysian Grand Prix Formula 1 race and the second one was the Barclays Premier League football match between Manchester United and Liverpool.
Malaysian Grand Prix:-
1- Kimi Raikkonen- Ferrari
2- Robert Kubica- BMW Sauber
3- Heiki Kovalanain- McLaren Mercedes
Ferrari which had a disasterous race in the season opener stormed back to win both the pole position and the race, courtesy Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen respectively. Had Felipe Massa not spun off on the 31st lap of the race, then Ferrari would have surely have had a 1-2 finish. But nonetheless it was Kimi Raikkonen who won the race for Ferrari. Now the real battle begins between Ferrari and the McLaren teams as only three points separate Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton in the race for the Championship. With the next race coming up at Bahrain, which has traditionally been a Ferrari stronghold, the race for Championship gets even more exciting as the competition between Ferrari and McLaren goes down to the wire.
Barclays Premier League:-
Manchester United-3 defeated Liverpool-0
The most exciting match on the super Sunday was undoubtedly Man Utd Vs Liverpool. Though a lot of people expected it to be a close match but many of them were heart broken when they realised that Man Utd had virtually turned the game into a one-sided affair. Man Utd could have
won by even a bigger margin had it not been for the brilliant goalkeeping of the Liverpool goal keeper. Man Utd got into the lead by an unexpected goal from Wes Brown which was followed up by Cristiano Ronaldo and the last goal was scored by Nani. Liverpool were reduced to mere spectators as Man Utd unleashed their warfare which decimated and reduced the Liverpool players into mere card boards. Now with only 7 matches left for the Premier League to finish, Man Utd look set to retain their winners trophy this year also.
P.S:- I am a die hard supporter of both Ferrari and Manchester United.
