No Surprises: Its Barack Obama, But..........

Its not a miracle. It was expected. Barack Obama becomes the first black to become the President of the United States of America.

Once Mr. Obama overcame the 'Hillary Clinton Caravan' to grab the Presidential Nomination of the Democrats, I had very little doubt that Mr. Obama was on his way to become the President of America. John McCain hardly stood any chance against a powerful orator that Mr. Obama is. All said and done, the biggest question is,

How will Mr.Barack Obama influence India?

1) One of the biggest promises that Mr. Obama rode on was the reduction or end of outsourcing. If implemented this would effect India's thriving outsourcing industry. It is now down to a wait and watch game as to what Mr. President does?

2) Another promise was the reduction in the granting of the H1 visas to the foreign workers. If implemented, the 'American Holiday' concept would effectively be over.

3) The often avoided Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) could well be back on the agenda.

4) America can again try to acquire the status of the 'Big Brother' for India with regard to the Kashmir Issue.

All said and done, one thing I feel is that BARACK OBAMA is the best solution to the ongoing economic crisis in the world.

Congrats Mr. Obama!!!!!
